About me:
My abstract works of art are mostley done intuitively; I am affected and inspired by music; no painting is done without music; music is inalienable.
I have synesthesia; means, everytime I hear music I can “see” colours…

… Years ago I had an accident, since I started to paint pictures again (acrylic). Music helped me to intuitively transfer my inner life into art. My art was kind of therapeutical paintings in the beginning which are unpublished. Soon I did more and more paintings, tried different techniques and experimentalized.
It was and still is that music “creates” colours in my imagination, I spread them and let myself be guided by emotions. When I think the painting is finished the actual process begins: I watch it drying. Something comes into being and only then I know the title for it.

Recently I started with digital art. But it’s still mostly intuitively; with fractal work and rendering. I wait and see what happens, take a second look and finish it then as perfect for me. – Only when working with a 3D programme I need to turn my imagination into words and formulas so the picture I have in mind will appear on the display.

Then I have my friends to look at it first – if they like it I exhibit it, else not. Their judgment is very important to me, they motivate me, they give their constructive criticism which I accept. When they like it I dare to publish it and hope it’s liked by others as well.

I also enjoy writing and published a reference book in July 2009 (only in German).
